El Maestro is a homage to my father who taught me the dignity and fulfillment that comes with mastering your craft and the understated value of hard work. I am a Marine, a poet and a creator, seemingly different identities housed in one body, reinvented and redeemed many times over by life and experience.

I believe that redemption is possible in all aspects of life.  I enjoy finding pieces that I can work on and, in a sense, redeem into something newer or different from what it was before.  One person’s old door is another person’s modern coffee table!  Any piece can live a new life and be loved again – redeemed and reinvented.
